But a good few others, including Cornwall Council who organised the show (as far as I'm aware).
I was mostly in the conference room with speakers on community renewable projects including speakers from WREN (Wadebridge), PURE & FREE (which are from 2 other Cornish areas.

I'm at the early stages of setting up a transition / community renewable etc. project in my own Cornwall parish of Perranzabuloe and got lots of information and contacts.]]>

The BC people where very good as well, got lots of free advice and offers of more if needed.

Not sure about Mathews latest electric car, the diddy one though.]]>

Agree that Cornwall Council stand was very good - had a series of Renewable Energy Planning guidance notes, ie the development of heat pumps, solar pv and thermal, AD, hydro, biomass and deep geothermal all available to down load from their website. Had good stuff for self builders re building control, LABC guides and pre-application Planning and Building Control Advice.

Didn't try the coffee though.

I spoke to a planner about the thorny issue of installing domestic renewables on properties in an AONB - he said it's a national problem, but I should look for either Local Development Orders or Neighbourhood Development Orders - in some cases these extend certain development rights to a given area ie Penzance apparently]]>

- seperate bins for next years event would be a nice little touch / improvement.]]>
