My mother has recently moved and had the very old heating/ water and tank removed
and replaced it with a Vailaint combination boiler. She now wants, for enviromental reasons (and a provisional grant) to
have Solar water heating as well. Is it possible to intergrate solar heating system and tank in to the
    Vailant system.
  1.
Ask Vaillant if this model of boiler is compatible with a hot feed. If it is, go for it. If it is not, you can 'de-combify' it, take another loop off the rad side (with a motorised valve), and run it as a conventional boiler with a twin-coil solar cylinder.

Who advised her to remove the old system, they should be contributing to the extra cost of there bad advise.

    What a waste

It was my mothers choice to remove the old system, which was a late 1970's back boiler with very long thin radiators
    which were not very efficient.
