    Hi all!
I am new to the forum but not to the industry. I have been working as an intaller in the south east for the last 5 and a half years doing predominantly PV and Thermal with a few GSHPs, Wind Turbines and biomass boilers thrown in for good measure. I am currrently doing an electricians NVQ and working in London. Just found this forum and thought it looked like it would be really useful. Hopefully I can learn from you lot as well as help those in need of any info.

    Tim

    Seconded.

Just watch out for the Cornish faction though. You'll know them when you see them. They're a sort of washed-out pink colour from spending so much time on the beach drinking tea.

Welcome Tim, this is a pretty good place for unbiased information as a rule. You do need a sense of humour at times, though!

There used to be a say that 'down every mine you find a Cornishman', seems that every PV installation has one connected to it now.

Did you hear ST, that Cornwall may be about to see a new rush for Indium mining in the near future, plus other "exotics" spin off. The Cousin Jacks will be after independence soon.

Not sure about a bird, but there is a theory that that a cat can be in two states and that one electron can be everywhere.
All a load of nonsense, if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it is a duck, got Ockham to thank for that.

Ockham and his razor never encountered an angry duck in a state of quantum superposition, labouring under the dead weight of half a cat...
