Having been on previous Hemcrete seminar at Eden Project, I thoroughly recommend this http://www.csbt.org.uk/documents/hemplaunchdecember2008.pdf , as a starter to understanding the remarkable eco-relevant properties of Hemcrete. See also http://www.greenbuildingforum.co.uk/newforum/comments.php?DiscussionID=2939&page=1#Item_3 . Anyone else care to paste up other links to Hemcrete topics, studies, papers etc?

There may be other materials, or non-proprietary combinations of materials that achieve as much - any suggestions?

....very disappointed... ...when I click on a link to a 'Hemp event' this is not what I expect...

Seriously though, Hemp is great: grows quick in rubbish soil, use for construction, food, soap, textiles, and shed load of other stuff apart from the obvious that I can't remember right now.

Not the OP's 'new thread' title - it's moderator's joke - credit where due!

James - we did try to work out how many Hemp batts you would need to smoke to get an effect once - ...lets just say you needed a couple of pallets...!
