**Please note - this event is for beginners and we will not be delivering in depth technical information for highly experienced installers. If you've been working as a renewable energy technology installer and you are seeking qualification, you need to attend a certified short course not this free introduction event.**

Invitation to FREE Renewable Energy Technology Overview Seminars.

Have you considered getting into the renewable energy installations market but you’re not sure where to start? If you have, then this is the perfect event for you to get the information you need to make your decision. You might be surprised how many of the skills and qualifications you have already are directly relevant to installing renewable energy technologies.

At last there is one place that plumbers, electricians and all types of installers can come to find out, in plain English, what they need to do to break into the financially (and ethically) rewarding business of installing renewables. Born out of a decade of experience in electrical training, for over a year EcoSkies Ltd. has been pioneering the way forward to make the renewables market affordable and accessible to hundreds of installers from all over the country.

Back by popular demand is our free overview course that will give you an insight into this exciting industry and explain how the technologies work and opportunities that are available to you.

    “When is it?”

We are pleased to confirm that we will be holding another one-day event on Friday 19th December, 9am - 1pm at our Training Centre next to the M1 near Chesterfield.

    The day will include:

    - An introduction to the renewable energy industry.

    - Seminars on the various technologies, including:

    Solar thermal
    Solar photovoltaics
    Small scale wind turbines
    Heat pumps

    - The opportunity to get hands-on with installations in our practical training area and view fully operational systems installed on site.

    - Question and Answer with individuals involved in the industry.

    - Free tea and coffee.

“What do I need to do?”

All you need to do is email info@ecoskies.comor call 01246 828 322 ASAP confirming name(s) of attendee(s), company name and contact phone number. That’s it! We will then send you confirmation that your place(s) have been booked.

“What do I need to bring?”

Nothing in particular, a pen, paper and a clipboard should do it. If you have special/additional requirements please let us know in advance.

    “How do I find you?”

Full directions including maps can be found on our website www.EcoSkies.com. If you are using SatNav please be aware that some systems are not yet holding details of the new M1 Junction 29a, completed a couple months ago, which we are located a few hundred yards from.

In the event of oversubscription to the above date when you reply, we will contact you immediately to advise you of this and the next available free overview date. If you find that you are unable to attend after confirming your booking, please inform us ASAP to assist us in managing catering requirements etc. There will, of course, be no charge for this.

    “What’s the catch?”

There isn’t one. We believe free and clear information should be available for small businesses to make up their own minds about whether getting into the industry is right for them. If we can help you take the next step after you have considered your options, that’s great. If not, that’s fine too. We’ll wish you every success in what you choose to do. At least you’ll know what’s going on out there if you change your mind in the future.

It really is that simple! So come along, have some coffee and a bite to eat, ask some questions and see what you think.
On behalf of the team at EcoSkies, thanks again for your interest in renewable energy technologies. We look forward to seeing you soon.

    Regards,

    Brett

    - So this is an advert for a free lead in to a paid for training courses -
" Forum members may add any 'FREE TO ATTEND' events or courses to the 'Events' category. - Paid events may only be posted after first contacting Jerry Clark on:jerryATgreenbuildingpressDOTcoDOTuk "

    Some questions:

I note you have tie ins with specific manufacturers - does this mean you provide training relating to their products?

    What are your qualifications?

Also - heat pumps are NOT renewable technology and absolutely not low carbon if they use mains electricity - please no not confuse your attendees

I think its great that companies are gearing up to train trades - that is a good thing.
I think its good that we see a business and market open up for low carbon tech stuff.
I don't think we can expect everyone to be as objective and unbiased, or as well researched as many on here. :?
