Where's the cheapest place to buy wide rolls of non-itch loft insulation?
  1.
BQ's home brand 90% recylced plastic wool (probably the same stuff) 4.8m2 - £10 170mm thick

go for 340mm if you can

    cheers Jim

I bought some of that - a real bargain, however it's totally out of stock up here in Edinburgh. I even contacted the manufacturer, they aren't making it any more in that size and thickness, though they say B&Q 'might' get some more, presumably they haven't delivered it all to them.

It's infuriating, the B&Q stuff is even nicer to handle than eco-wool, why do they make it in that stupid 370mm size? Are anyone's joists really that close together?!!

I'd pay someone to get some of the £10 wide rolls from their local store and I can organise pick-up an delivery - I need about 20 rolls.

I'll be insulating to at least 340mm.
