I need a 16A ( resistive load ) DIN rail timer for an area of electric UFH cable.
Prices vary massively £12- £150. My CUs are Hager and no prizes for guessing who's timers cost £150. Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, of cheaper modules.

For UFCH control, I've bought - but not yet installed - a Shelly Pro 4PM timer (£100) + separate 25A Legrand contactors. Although Shellys are rated nominally at 16A per channel, they can only take 1.5mm² cable, hence the need for a separate contactor. That wouldn't be much of a saving by the time you've added an MCB for the contactor, but would give more control options.

To control a single device you could instead use a Shelly Pro 1 and save £50, but that has no control buttons so can 'only' be controlled via LAN / WiFi / Bluetooth.

Thanks Mike; They look pretty sophisticated with more features than I envisaged.
I managed to find a simple Hager analog model for £45 online, although UK sellers generally want over £100 for the same model, with one so called trade outlet with the gall to ask £190.
