Can anyone identify / recommend a product which would give me a heat recovery extract fan for use in a bathroom or utility.

I need 1 - a quiet trickle setting, and 2 - a boost. The boost can be manually switched or on a timer.

Usually I have used Vent Axia Lo-Carbon Tempra through the wall fans, which have been fine, but in this case I will be doing EWI so I would like to take it out via the ceiling to avoid penetrations, perhaps to a ventilation tile.

I have read the other huge thread currently running, but could not find anything which might be suitable here.

I fitted two different through-the-wall fans from Vent-Axia, an HR25 and a Tempra.

THat sounds as though I may be better off with the Vent Axia Lo Carbon Tempra Ps (no humidistat or timer) as I have been using for the last 4 years ... installed my first just after Damon ... and accept the penetrations.

THe best thing from my view about those is that the trickle is so quiet that no one turns them off.

So that will be PIV plus one Vent Axia in kitchen plus another or a fan with backdraft shutters in the bathroom, and appropriately shaved doors. I have a less airtight house with this setup and the Ts like it.

The other idea I am drawn too are the Lunos pushmepullyou fans, but they seem unproven for now.

You mean to just outside the bathroom door - with plenty of air-gap under/over it?
