    Where does one look for grants available?

    Just trying to see if there is anything available for my new purchase or any loopholes to get funding?

    Not something I've done, but I think I'd start from here:
    https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/find-energy-grants-for-you-home-help-to-heat
    (NOTE the focus is on hard-to-heat but a lot of the schemes apply more widely)

    As they advise there may also be schemes through your local council or your energy supplier too.

    From what I have seen advertised there are many conditions.
    It has to be hard to heat as @DT mentions
    If a business it is profit below £31000 or total income to the home.
    Someone who lived there on medicationfor long term condition, but guess there is a test there to do with the condition.
    Anyone in the property on working tax credit child tax credit uni credit pension credit.
    Does not apply if you are on mains gas.

    Looks like many people round where I live would qualify.
