Housing - Renovation: Condensation on inside of conservatory roof

    Is there a short term solution

    I know I need to replace the roofing panels - but can I do anything in the meantime

    I have thought about

    Foil on the ceiling
    paint the ceiling
    polystyrene tiles on the ceiling


    Any other ideas?:sad:

    If it doesnt condense on the ceiling it will condense somewhere else.
    What is the source of the moisture?

    Conservatories should be ventilated to avoid condensaton and definitely not heated.

    I think I'll get some of those crystal (for sheds)

    It's one very small bit (maybe 30 cm by 45cm - in a roof 42 ft long by 12 ft)

    I take it this is condensation within the flutings of twin- or triple-wall polycarb...? If so, ignore it. The crystals will do very little.

    I just found a big gap between the ceiling and the trim.....& a very large draft!!!

    I have filled it and the draft has miraculously disappeared - I wonder if the condensation will as well?

    One patch 1ft x 1.5 ft, and recently appeared....(?). Very odd. Hope it is now cured, but cannot think of any logical reason why the gap should have caused condensation in a tiny patch only. It couldn't have been rain blowing in?
