Next week environment ministers from across Europe will come together to decide the fate of our bees. They’ll vote on a ban of these pesticides - but Owen Paterson, our environment minister, is currently saying he’ll vote against. [1]

We only have one week to show him that he’s not only going against science, he’s going against public opinion too. Already, over 160,000 38 Degrees members have signed a petition to push Paterson to vote the right way and back a ban.

Please add your name to the petition before next Monday’s crucial vote:

Our bees are in danger again. Toxic chemical companies are trying to get their banned pesticides back on UK fields. Yesterday an application was submitted to the government asking them to lift the ban on bee-killing chemicals for some crops planted this autumn.

Bees don’t have a voice, but we do. Please can you sign the petition right now demanding that we keep the ban on bee-killing pesticides?

    Done x2.
Last summer, bees made a big come back in our garden, thanks perhaps to that ban - but elsewhere reports are worse than ever,

Pump the enviroment full of chemicals, poisoning rivers and killing bees so that we can grow enough food to be able to waste 50 percent of it. gotta change.
