(1)(a) Total Energy Use Intensity appears to be the same as annual energy demand and both are actually [average] power measurements. (except Energy Use Intensity seems to be American).
(b) I'm not clear what 'measured at the meter and exclude on-site generation' means. My import meter obviously doesn't measure demand satisfied by my own generation, so how would I be able to report that?

(2) is suspiciously like PH standard, but PH standard includes cooling energy in the total!!! Sneaky or what?

but at least (1) and (2) do give some numerical targets, yes.

(3) I suppose there are issues of privacy etc that the aggregated and anonymised basis is designed to get around, but how do you identify people running hot tubs in winter, or cannabis farms or WHY?

(4) We should all be good, really, and go to church every day ...

(5), (6), (7) excellent stuff

(8) what does this mean? What is 'annual peak energy demand'? Annual energy demand is the average power demand of the building but what does 'peak' mean? The highest instantaneous demand in the year? The highest average demand in the worst year? What?

(9) OK

(10) A 15-year PPA is at least clear, but probably illegal as a requirement. 'Investment into additional renewable energy capacity off-site' means what exactly? Can I buy solar panels in Belize? What about tidal research off Scotland? Is it another cost a housing association needs to fund and recover over decades?]]>
