    I gave up on iMeasure (we had a GBF community a while back, may still be there) as they changed the terms and conditions (our old mate D H-D had something to say about it) and then they upgraded the software and my house because detached, bigger, on gas and the data was nonsense. It also does not (or did not) cope well with E7 heating and the minimum HDD base was then 12°C (I needed 10 to make sense). It was all the above that prompted James Ingram to start the GBF Energy Monitoring thread.

    You can now set it as low as 10.5 °C. I tried different temperatures and lower temperatures seem to give a better baseload estimation (15.5 °C estimates the base load too low, based on gas usage in non-heating months) but a worse correlation with HDD. I can't see any communities or any other accounts, maybe that is because I'm only using it as a trial.

    The transition to their new system seemed a bit bumpy but works pretty smoothly now. I still input weekly data into it. If nothing else it's a nice simple source of HDD data and an off-site data store, and if I miss the Monday meter reading window due to hectic Monday mornings it adjusts pretty well.

    I think a lot of people gave up on it because they wanted it to do comparisons between buildings, but that was never an issue for me.

    Here are our carbon emissions by month for the last three years (some data missing) as calculated by imeasure , which seems a pretty good feature:-
