    Hello all,

Do you have left over 1 ton bags from building materials? If yes - I would be delighted if you could post them to me. I will provide postage (via that clever Royal Mail print your own stamps thingy).

    Many thanks!
    Nicola

Ton bags only half cubic metre..whoops hopefully not blown firewood sellers secrets there!
prob cheaper to get them from builders merchants than pay postage..

Cookie, are you able to fold one up and weigh it? If I send you a PDF file to print off with the postage will this be okay?

I'm happier reusing than buying new!

    Thanks.

    Dear Nicola at newmill,

Try your local re-cycling site - they usually have lots of them and are unlikely to charge for you to take them away. Also, builders' merchants take back used ones (or they say so on the side of their dumpy bags), so they may well have some to give away. I'm not sure what happens to them otherwise - landfill?

They are great to have for humping garden waste (twigs and branches - nothing too dense, otherwise they become far too heavy) and we always have a couple around (acquired from local dump).
