    The issue of shrinkage was raised a couple of years ago on this forum. Since then I have monitored a cavity batt left out in the open. The only change I have noticed is degradation round the edges of the foam - presumably due to UV?? Other than that, board dimensions dont seem to have changed. Thickness measured with a decent quality vernier, length & width measured with a tape measure - so not necesarily highly scientific. No idea how old the board was before we recieved it.

    Mike, I meant No, the performance would be worse, but Yes, the blowing gas is replaced by air.
