Posted By: djhNot sure about PV integration. I think cars have minimum current requirements and probably wouldn't like being stopped and started repeatedly so it might be tricky. Just guessing.

Posted By: bogal2Ive just put in a Zappi. I ran the cables and got an electrician to connect it at either end. It dosent need an earth rod unlike some other chargers...
Posted By: WillInAberdeenFor people who need solar inverters as well as bidirectional EV charging, maybe it would be neat if a single inverter could do both functions, and that might also simplify the conversation with the DNO. IE the EV and the solar both stay on the DC side of the inverter, though at different voltages. With a single AC connection via the consumer unit to/from grid, with whatever current limit is required on that.I wonder what proportion of people happen to have their solar and their EV charging conveniently placed so this might make sense?
