A client - with whom I am working to get the heat-load of his TF new-build as low as possible - wants an eco-minded heating engineer with whom to discuss the relative merits of bells-and-whistles (gas) boilers, weather compensation etc. Bath area, though a lot of the advice could be by phone or e-mail. Anyone know anyone? Space heating requirement at -10 may be about 8.5kW (t.b.c.).

    Thanks.

Happy to talk about how to reduce the heating load, also I know some good "building physicists" who could do a model and give advice. I can advise on regimes, controllers, not big on weather compensation but like comfortable.

    Cheers Tony,

We re already working on overall U values (except windows and doors!) of 0.13, minimal thermal bridging, and air-tightness of around 1m3/m2/hr. I think the major issue is how to get in that heat which *is* required. I'll pass on your details to the client.

    Thanks.

    Nick
