    Hi All,

    I have three Amphiro A1 water meters available:

    They're powered by the water flow and tell you the volume/energy content of the hot water used. (designed for showers)

    Two used but in good working order - £20 each posted. One brand new. £35 posted.

    Sorry, I don't want to buy one. But what an interesting device!

    My question (which I can't find in the FAQs) is how it allows for the intake water temperature of the boiler. If it's 5C you are using a lot more energy than if it is 15C. Boiler efficiency in DHW mode could also be an issue if you really want to know the energy cost of your shower.

    Maybe this device is more useful for raising awareness than it is for the kind of obsessive - sorry:shamed: - the kind of detailed energy monitoring that some people on the forum try to do.
