We just did our initial airtightness test of the empty house (no internal walls etc).

0.26 ACH average (corrected). We're thinking of doing the final building regs test with a window open

An achievement! What did it take to get to that, as built (not just as designed?)

    Congratulations. Well done.

    Sounds good.
What is that result in m3/(h.m3), ie the air permeability figure used in SAP's?
  2.
    m3/m2/h, I think.

Excellent result, djh. Is this the straw build?

    When can we see pics?

A fistful of greenies in a brown envelope? No, no, smack hands. I suppose it was attention to detail, miles and miles of sticky tape and a good design to start with. And Arthur Phillip, the plasterer, put in effort above and beyond the call.

Sorry, don't know yet. We didn't have the envelope area. PH is what we care about. But I'll post it when I have it.

Corrected the number in my original post. It should be 0.26 rather than 0.24.

Congrats, that's a fantastic result. You can go ahead and nail up the kitchen cupboards now and to hell with the consequences!
  4.
    Well done!!

That is basically zero unless it is very windy.
    Pretty impressive.

    djh,

Very well done! The best I have seen up till now was 0.41 m3/m2h....
    Worth the effort....

    Cheers
