    Any one had any experience of this product ? I presume it's a battery dump/ inverter, automated unit to store rather than export.

    Yeah, but I wonder how it gets round the 'don't electrocute the linesman' rule (see their FAQ re power cuts)?

    Edit: A post on Sheffield Forum says: ''I had a ........ presentation the cost is £5500 for 9kw storage of which you can only use 5 kw all stored in gell batteries plus another inverter and a box of tricks, battery service when duff is €75''

    Is that storage capable of delivering 9kW or of storing 9kWh?

    Big store if it's capable of 9kW..... I simply copied te post as written. I suspect they meant kWh.

    9kW delivery could be the power from a 5kWh system. Just means it runs out of juice in half an hour.
    There is energy density and power density.

    Yes, but it'd need a 9kW inverter. The costs are starting to add up.

    I suspect it's a nominal 9kWh of batteries, with a usable storage of 5kWh.

    The lack of detail on the site does not inspire a lot of confidence.

    9kWH or even 5kWH would power most houses overnight.
