    Great that it could be used to supply homes in areas which were once mining communities!

    Great to see it happening already but will the heat become exhausted to a point it won't be economical? Someone must have done the sums somewhere? Suppose the deeper the "well" the more heat there is available.

    I suppose it depends on the relative rate that the water heats up from geoheat and the rate it is extracted. Given how stunningly ineffective we and pretty much all the other governments are at limiting fishing rates, especially trawling and dredging, I don't thing it's guaranteed to be a long term thing although it could be.
