I was just wondering if anyone has any recommendation for a wireless temperature gauge?

I’d like to be able to monitor my thermal store temp while not at home; and ideally monitor and record what’s it’s doing over a period.

I have a vacant gauge opening on the tank to place a temp probe in.

Any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks Tony. Not really sure where to start with that. I was think a more off the shelf solution.

If you could expand a bit further, it would be highly appreciated]]>

This probably does what you want, but I don't know how long it stores the data for.

If you ever get into HomeAssistant, I think you will be able to pull the data in via bluetooth.

There is also an esphome component. https://esphome.io/components/sensor/inkbird_ibsth1_mini.html]]>

Thanks borpin. Looks like you can connect it to a wifi hub too. Cheers]]>

The nodes and receiving unit are all Arduino/JeeNode based.
I record hot water tank temperatures, 3x room temperature & humidity, CO2 levels and hope to expand soon with outdoors temperature & humidity and UFH/screed temperatures. The system 'just works' and has collected data over 4-5 years now.
Posting the full details on here is probably a bit much. Let me know if you are interested and I'll be happy to help.]]>
