Supplier asked to supply Isover Hi Cav 32 instead of Knauf Earthwool DriTherm 32 cavity insulation.
Both same U values, both approved for full fill cavity in all exposure zones etc,, but the Knauf has a 50 yr guarantee. I won't be around in 50 years, but Knauf obviously have faith in the product.
    Anyone used the Isover stuff?
Waiting for prices at the minute.
    Thanks.

Probably neither will most of us on this forum, maybe Knauf too. Maybe that's why they can give this great?? guarantee.
Sorry, that's just the cynic in me.

    Owlman...i agree with you.
But wondering what may happen if i get some water ingress in 10 years time...
Isover will save me about £750 compared to the DriTherm.
Waiting for some more prices later today.
  1.
used both , no obvious difference I'm aware of . Isover felt denser, brickie prefered as they didn't push light weight blocks out as much when laying.
