I vote leave the tread alone - 'All's well in Biomass' did come back, and if you grey down the thread you lose the character of the Forum - OK maybe a few users will not be put off but if these users then join for sure they will discover their mistake idc.....for so long as people on here aim to add value, have some fun and remain big enough to take it on the chin when told they have gone too far (and it was too rough in my opinion), it works. This thread says more positive things about this Forum now than if it were greyed down.

Ohhh FFS...!!! Leave it alone! :crying:

If anything this is a great advert for the forum am I missing something?!

"All good hearted as we try to criticise the idea not the person"
"I hope so as it will be good to talk to someone in the business that may be open to debate.", "second that"
"Surely we should give a new user a break when they are being above board (without promoting) their company.
I can think of several here with strong interests who also contribute excellently to a productive debate."
"Please dont frighten off Ashwell Biomass as I am looking forward to the debate between Brian and Ashwell as the technology they use is at the dirty end of biomass. "

"I will take the comments on the chin and in the spirit of the forum world - we're all here to rant and rave, get things off our chest etc. I'm big enough and ugly enough to cope. "

" At the end of the day you'll be judged by the quality of your input here, not your username."
"I am in total favour of open discussion and hope that AshwellBiomass took my posts and humour in the way they had been intended. I look forward to open debate on the pro's and con's of biomass on a large scale. I do not know enough about it to judge for myself so I hope to be more informed soon,"

"Though I do agree that a few light hearted pokes are harmless enough. The difficulty is that some web users can (and do) take things personally so it can be difficult to draw the line. "

Read it, it's all there! Great stuff in my opinion. Ok maybe a bit cliquey but not offensive, probably just a bit confusing if you are not familiar with recent threads!

I don't think the regular critique clique here mean to frighten anyone, they are being very polite by comparison with some members - it's just perhaps that heavily slanted in-jokes aren't necessarily a great welcome.

Bit like a green L driver being welcomed to the M4 by some experienced white van men overtaking very closely - within the law, but not the spirit of driving. As a biomass user and installer since 1978 I look forward to learning much from Ashbio, my nickname for them..........

......... cos if they think I'm going to type the full thing every time we compare notes....
