I am really glad it went well. I have not entered the 21st Century when it comes to lasers. I borrowed one for setting out my extension and EWI and simply could not work out how it works. I went back to the wonky spirit level (use both ways and split the difference) and measuring diagonals. In years to come I may be dragged kicking and screaming into the modern world. I am remarkably OK at setting-out, but always nervous!

Do keep us updated with your progress. In particular let me know what you think of the glatt. I think you can mix it thicker than I use it, which is like runny cheese sauce, hence the thin-ness and the occasional 2nd coat req'd. Does not taste anything like as nice, though.]]>
