125mm PUR is the thickest I've seen, anyone come across anything thicker?

Needs to be available in 2400mm x 1200mm sheets. Interested in hearing about any type of rigid insulation but obviously this would mean being even thicker to achieve same u-value.

I don't want 'layers' of thinner stuff.

    Any help much appreciated

Celotex go up to 200mm from memory. I think its called something like XR.

I tried to order some from Builder Centre a few years ago (110mm) but because it was over 100mm they didn't stock it and I would have to buy a pallet load!
    Just used a 60mm and a 50mm

Mike, it depends on quantity and/or price you're prepared to pay.
You can buy bunstock PUR or PIR in thicknesses up to 730mm. Width is typically 1200mm, lengths around 2500mm. Its an imported product not inexpensive. If you want more details then whisper me

    Mike,

I used Minster when I was working in Bristol. They cover nationwide. I assume you are needing the product delivered in S Wales? They should be OK to drop off over the bridge......

    Cheers.....

more related to your question on http://www.aecb.net/forum/index.php?topic=2241.0

Weber , do EPS - EWI boards up to 200mm , 1220/610 , not sure if this is 2 x 100mm layers though
they sell via Jewsons ( all part of saint gobain)

    http://www.netweber.co.uk/external-wall-insulation/weber-products/systems/webertherm-xm.html

be nice to find source for thicker EWI boards , at a similar price to the 8/4 sheets available at standard
insulation merchants , or find someone to cut them down to size , with a clean cut
