    Our green roof has be flourishing for a couple of seasons now. I've thinned it in a few places for a friend's tiny green roof and have realised it would stand a lot more thinning if anyone wants to gather enough for their own green roof, free. Equally it will be happy as is I'm sure. It's very easy to grow. Near j24 of M62.

    Have just read the news article (side bar) which titled "sedum may not be best choice for green roof" but on reading it is says "not best choice if you want a cooler environment" which is just not the case here.

    I don't yet know whether we'll have any bits of green roof. There's at least one place where we might though, so I'll make a note. Thanks for your offer.

    As long as there not some terrible sedum blight or we move house (unlikely) the offer's still there!
