    Hi Morning Glory
We are doing a barn conversion in the North York Moors National Park. Progressing well (very slowly) but all assistance welcomed. Environmentally conscious build - lime mortars. clay plasters, NBT woodfibre and hemp insulation, high thermal mass, log boiler, solar thermal, UFH and in-wall heating, lots of reclaimed and recycled but also aiming for pretty minimalist finishes. Would need to speak about accomodation but please get in touch if it sounds interesting.
    Cheers
    Chris

Hi, we are in the middle of a large housebuild in Bucks near Milton keynes, being built from both new and reclaimed materials, I have a million jobs, to do, to help push the project forward, I can feed and water you and offer Tent accomodation!! as we are on site in caravans, The build is being filmed for a well known TV programme so is is quite good fun.. If anyone fancies lending some help over the summer and you dont mind what it is, then please get in touch..

I kick off an ICF project in Leeds in around 3 weeks time (we're in the final throws of design and procurement), ASHP, underfloor heating, solar heating, MVHR, rainwater collection, green roof. Timber, stone and rendered, a real stunning looking building.

Big retaining wall, house cut sharply into the hill side through bed rock, not enough space to swing a cat, this house has been designed to give me an ulcer... lol but all in a days work.

I'll drop a link on the site once we are up and running but in the mean time if you want to come help out for a week or two or just at particular stage then let me know and if I can help out I will.
