And no, I haven't got shares or a vested interest, nor a commission arrangement. Just wondered what it was they're actually offering for that price.

OK John. So what do you reckon you'd get if you went for the £69, given what they list as coming within the offer?

£69 for design and asbuilt SAPs, pressure test and EPC is a good price.
If indeed that is what they are charging. Always wary of the word "From" in this context...
  1.
Wolseley are a big, reputable company with many well known brand names under the umbrella (Plumb Center, Build Center, Bathstore to name a few).

I would think it highly unlikely that the offer was some sort of con or attempt at being duplicitous. I suspect that it is/was a loss-leader to find opportunities to sell you materials, more insulation or technology to improve the energy efficiency of your home.

Having said all that, the page includes the wording: "Missed out on Wolseley's Technical offer...Wolseley also provide a separate Air Tightness Test offer!" which implies that the deal was a limited time offer and has expired, although the page doesn't make that very clear.

Well spotted Mark. Rendered my prepared post obsolete when I opened up this morning. I noticed that rider on re-reading the piece prior to sending the link on to a mate. I think I'll give them a ring later and see what's what.
