I keep getting e-mails from TP about them entering the renewables market.

Can't say I’m very enthusiastic?! Can't imagine what they will bring to the table, lower prices?

They have set up a 'Sustainable Building Solutions' arm; http://www.sustainablebuildingsolutions.co.uk/
selling metal-web-joists, I-beams, solar panels and the like... They can see the future, and are aiming to compete with St. Gobain in terms of total supply, a one-stop-shop for builders I reckon?

    Cheers:smile:

Wasn't late lamented Bradfords, Builders Merchant with strong renewables emphasis, part of TP? (I discovered to my surprise)

Just had a look at the TP site and they use a third party as a consultant (Coates) who charge 55 quid I think.
They are only do the thermal stuff, no PV or Wind, which seems a bit odd.

Give them a chance steamy, they are only just setting up. Meeting in Exeter this week explaining the concept and their role in it. Watch this space...

Tom - Bradfords BM still going strong down here - unless there are two such??
