    Yes, 'standards of living' .Somepeoples standards seem to revolve around having lots of money to shop endlessly for crap they dont need. I think they need to get real. I remember when i lived on a mobile bus home in the early 1980s that running water even if cold was considered a luxery. I still regard hot running water as a complete luxery, ive never forgotton freezing cold water in the winter when rinsing out terry nappies - ( i rarely used disposables)

    We all used to have a laugh at the 'league tables' for wealth / poverty - we were in the lowest poverty band re: money earned yet we were happy and felt satidfied with our simpler life.:bigsmile:

    Freezing cold water? We used to dream of having freezing cold water to wash out our nappies...
