I'm interested in buying some wireless light switches. SWMBO wants some extra control!

Does anybody have any experience of these, good or bad? I'm just looking for basic switching and low-power mains control. I'm not interested in 'smart' controls or dimmers, for example. I've found Acegoo and Quinetic brand products that don't need batteries and there are X-10 products that do need batteries. Are there others? Which are any good?

Quinetic work well straight out of the box. with no problems.
My only 'concern' is the stand-by power usage? I see the 'claimed' is low, but I am not sure if this is correct, or how to measure it...?

There is lightwaveRF who admittedly are smart controls but they also offer remote battery powered switches as well. They also work with Alexa should you ever want to integrate the two in the future.

Thanks, Daryl. I see: "Standby Power Consumption QUR303: <0.3W" so hopefully not too bad.

Thanks for the other suggestions, chaps. I think they're examples of rather more complicated, and expensive, systems than I want.

Yes, just ordered one and a QUR303. If they work, I'll probably order some more.
