Ldriver - I was looking for similar help (Heating System Designer wanted) back in October in this category for a new build with gas boiler, solar panels and UFH downstairs and rads upstairs - hope not to need the rads, but don't want to have to retrofit.

I've taken advice and now have an outline design that you might like to look at - can't find out how to attach it to this post, but if you whisper back your email address, I can send to you, plus the name of the engineer who helped put it together

To whisper, I think you just put my user name into the little box marked 'whisper your comments to (optional)' and that should come just to me - I can't find easy instructions on how to use the whisper facility - and send me an email or phone number

I'm not in the business at all, but have spent 6 months gaining knowedge and happy to discuss my experiences
