Sorry to harp on, but why was I not surprised to see the photographs in the freebie papers of all the lights being left on in Canary Wharf when they should have been off between 8 and 9pm on Saturday.
Perhaps when the elections for mayor are over I will start again trying to get London to turn off office lights at night.

The lights went out in Louth Town Hall where we had an acoustic gig by candlelight.

Tom, now there's a thought, perhaps next time. But then again perhaps not, horses for courses!

I must admit I didn't take part, but as I live in a van with 4 LED lights, using a candle may have had a bigger environmental impact
  1.
We started it all off in Christchurch NZ, a nice 12% reduction and my LED keyring got me through the rest of dinner

    Sorry to drag this up.

I remember this happening. I didn't realize it was happening until i turned Google on and it was black! To be honest I don't think it was well publicized. I don't watch TV but I read the paper on the train in the mornings to keep up with world events. I didn't have a clue it was happening.
Am I alone on that one?
