Baumit Klima Glatt is a permeable lime-based skimming plaster. With a natural white colour it lends itself well to preparing a fine finish to internal surfaces. It also has the advantage of breathability making it ideal for high moisture areas such as kitchens and bathrooms.

Baumit Klima Glatt provides a naturally white, fine finish over lime, cement and plaster. The product is easy to use, can be manually applied and goes off in around two hours. Each 20kg bag of Baumit Kalkin Glatt will cover approximately 10m2 at 2mm thickness.

High quality fine finishing plaster for internal use.
Suitable for both walls and ceilings.
High breathability makes it ideal for kitchens and bathrooms.
Can be applied quickly and easily.
Natural white colour and can be painted if necessary.

It's Kay Metzeler stuff (Superplus) in two thicknesses. CAVEAT: this is sold as flooring insulation, I can't really see in the material properties what makes it different to other applications but clearly you'd need to agree any other uses with building control.

I am part of the international team involved in a well known and highly respected sustainable house building project, called Scocles Court, in a very beautiful location in Minster, Sheppey, Kent.

We are in the final stages of construction, and as part of the investors' business philosophy, we provide free tours of the scheme to those who are genuinely interested in advancing the cause of sustainable housing in Britain and elsewhere.

Scocles Court is part of a £30 million short term sustainable housing investment plan in the UK, and is a pioneering scheme in many ways. Having worked on many different housing schemes in the past, I have never come across something as special as this, and I am sure that there is a lot for others to learn from it, too. Whilst the homes are fit for the very wealthy, they are only slightly above average prices for regular larger premium homes, despite having many stand-out features.

The tour is completely free of charge, and open for students, policy makers, academics, architects, self-builders and anybody else who cares about sustainable homes.

Scocles Court is 60-90 minutes from London, depending on traffic, and our next tours will be taking place in the last week of February. If you are interested in joining one of them, please send me a private message and I will be in touch with you in due course. Please forgive me if I am a little slow in responding, as I am not familiar with this site's notification settings.

Many thanks and best wishes!

4 of the boxes (containing inverters and some other electronics) were only opened today.

Seems to be everything there - generator units, blades, masts, guylines, inverters, ?dump-load. All ready to go, but no instructions or makers name ever seem to have been supplied. One has the legend 'FD200W/24V' and the other 'FD500W/36V'. I guess they are Chinese.

I've done a Google search but cannot find any provenance.

Cost £800 the pair 15 years ago, but owner would accept considerably less.

Can pay cash and collect if not too far from Sheffield, or I'll pay postage if it isn't too expensive.

Many thanks]]>

BUTYL Stretch Flex 2.0mm Thick 80 mm 10 m. I reckon we used less than 2m of it. Original cost was £50.

It's heavy so postage will be quite a bit. £20 posted? £10 collected from London SW2]]>
