Can anyone suggest how much this lot is actually worth?

I need quite a bit for my new roof and as this lot failed to sell at auction I'm considering making them an offer -http://www.bidspotter.co.uk/en-gb/auction-catalogues/landwood-manchester/catalogue-id-landwo10010/lot-7a9d80ca-d4f2-4f9e-bbf5-a318010ace46
  1.
Worth nothing thats why nobody bid on the lot. I would offer to take it away for nothing otherwise they will have to pay for it to be cleared from site. Remember transport cost will not be cheap and you have no guarantee there will be a fork truck available to load the slate so be prepared to hand ball it onto a truck.

15 pallet loads! Maybe I need a Hiab type truck to load and transport it.

Google maps tells me it's 100mile one way to deliver the load. Anyone any idea how much transport for 15 pallets would cost?

    Maybe I'll offer £10 a pallet?

The way to price it is 'what is the value to me'.

I would ask re the forklift as Hiab trucks are a lot more and also the crane weight reduces the load so you have to go for a bigger truck . I pay £2.30 per mile one way for a Non hiab 6 wheeler which would carry the weight .Hiab would be at least £100 more Good luck
