I worked by off-grid solar lighting and ran my laptop on batteries (and recharged it from our PV this morning)!

We had a very successful "Stargazing at The Summit" event. Seven large telescopes courtesy of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada Montreal chapter and perfectly clear skies gave maginificent views of Mars, Saturn, the Moon and various astronomical objects such as the Orion Nebula. For those interested, a photo album of the event can be seen here: http://bit.ly/brriKT

We were also honoured to have our local MP and astronaut, Marc Garneau, give a speech.

    Paul in Montreal.

Is this the opposite of the car accelerating towards a wall, every time it doubles its speed it halves the distance. So every time we half the minutes left we halve the rate of destruction, that way it will never happen

Well, we dutifully ate by off-grid solar-powered LED.

I even moved my ADSL modem off-grid for the duration.
