I find this site really useful for info and scan regularily. I am going to be building a house and was wondering if people who have built some great houses would be willing to open them up for visits from other wannabes. Personally I would like to see/hear (or not!) MHRV in action, but also want tons of ideas and tips on everything else. I would be willing to travel a long way too - I have to I am in Cornwall! This isnt just a personal plee though as i think it would be a great way to share ideas with lots of people.

We'd be happy to have an open day, by invitation only! What stage do people think this would be most useful? Pre-plaster maybe or when it's finished? Your thoughts welcomed.

Is Mrs James interested in hosting or visiting or both?
  2.
Both, but the former will be a guided tour of a hole in the ground at present.

PS if she ever catches me referring to her as "Mrs James" then I am so in for it...
