    Fitting floor joists in a couple of weeks. Do i need to wrap the joist ends in an airtight but vapour open membrane ?and whats the preferred method of sealing any joints in the membrane?

    Wow! You are very good. These are explained in a GBM article and on my house website, I swelled my joins be rolling and folding the overlaps. I think I taped the two together first but didn't use any sealants.
