    NPower in conjunction with Build Centre are currently running a "£1 a roll" insulation offer.

    Rolls in thicknesses of 100mm and 170mm so you can insulate to 270mm from scratch or top up an existing 100mm layer.

    get a quote and there is a link to order but I had to persevere a few times to get it to work. eg back try again .back try again etc

    I love the idea of insulaing 'from scratch' with Rockwool.....

    Don't tell everyone. The way things are going I might just move into my new place a couple of days before the offer ends, and I thought I might get some. They might have run out before I can order it!

    We got 15 rolls of this the last time they were on offer.

    But... they charged us extra for delivery and didn't provide the mask and gloves as promised.

    We're still chasing the delivery costs...

    I just bought insulation sponsored by British Gas from B@Q for £6 a roll (roll 200mm thick and 1200mm wide pre-cut for 3 off 400mm rolls) but it was also BOGOF (buy one get one free) so £3 a roll !. bargain
