    Now thats about the neatest system I have ever seen for a roof, is it any good?

    Yes they are, but pricey compared to conventional mono or polycrystalline solar PV.

    We specified £100K worth of C21e to be fitted onto the roof of a block of flats a few years back. No issues at all.

    The Soladin 600 mini inverter is a reliable piece of kit as well, but no longer manufactured as micro-inverters have taken over its target market.

    It could handle another 2 or 3 tiles - they were normally loaded to 700-720 Wp but I have seen them up to 810 Wp (in Scotland). Cooling fans are noisy when the inverter is flat out, avoid fitting the inverter in a bedroom cupboard.

    Okay that makes sense, I'll pass on that for now. I'll wait I think till prices drop further again. Although now would be a good time to hide all the wires etc etc.
