    How would you stick shower wall panels to plastered walls?

    Manufacturer wants £80 for enough gloup for two panels, we ave thirty to stick on. 😭

    What kind of panels? Or really, what kind of surface on the back?

    Don't really know, but possibly some floor adhesive?

    I have checked these out -- they are Very Nice but *heckish* expensive !

    How about neoprene cement ?

    Are they pre-treated with a contact adhesive? What kind of adhesive does the manufacturer provide? (The MSDS might give more details if the technical data sheet is light on detail).

    The BB Complete adhesive for our Nuance shower boards was in tubes, and allowed the boards to be moved around a bit, unlike the contact adhesive apparently normally used with formica.

    I just use some cheap sticky gloup ,
    Belt and braces for me would be a cheap brand of MSpolymer adhevise in a gun tube,
    Its surprising how good 99p decorators caulk is as a all round gloup.

    We have some like this, very pleased with them vs tiles. I didn't actually see them fitted but I think the wall was strapped with battens, the back of the panel was abraded to key the plastic laminate, then the panels were glued and secret nailed to the battens.

    Ordinary silicone sealant doesn't seem to stick longterm to the laminate surface, unless it is roughened, so maybe ordinary glue doesn't either..

    As Jim Ingram says; a good polymer adhesive; it's what was supplied with my panels.
    I chose laminate on ply rather than MDF, - I dislike MDF anywhere near water. I also bought edging strips. Mine is glued to tiles so slightly different. Just as important as the adhesive is the priming of the plaster, use acrylic, not PVA IMO.

    P.S. The plaster is the weakness, most modern adhesives will stick OK and pull the plaster off the wall rather than break the bond.
