Is there a problem getting the batteries for solar panels ?

I had my solar panels installed in May and I am still waiting for my battery.

IS this company specific or across the whole industry ?

Don't hold your breath; From my own recent experience, I think there are supply issues right across manufacturing industry. There appears to be no lack of demand for goods, so I can't quite work out what the problem is.
I've heard lots of reasons, For new EV cars, it's lack of microchips. For powered wood saw benches, (in my case), it's no stock until Spring next year. For China generally it's their continued lockdowns. For the movement of freight, it's 'cos containers are all in the wrong place.
I guess the spectre of Covid still looms large, not helped by the Ukraine conflict.

Ok, so this is the new norm. Deglobalisation as predicted is playing out.

Theres also high demand for all PV stuff. With the soaring cost of leccy, battery enconomics have become much more attractive

A lot depends on what you can get paid for your leccy. Last month was paid more per kwh for export than my consumption rate. (34p vs 27p) Think that was due to the wholesale price going up, not much wind so solar was main renewable and me being on the current variable rate. So last month it would have been to my advantage to export rather than store in the battery. If that situation was to continue (which I very much doubt) the economics of the battery goes out of the window. Over winter it will be unlikely if I export much, if any, so hopefully will come into its own then to make use of every bit of solar I generate.

For all the DIYers and non MCS installs its zilch so maxing out self consumption with a battery represents an increasingly benefical thing to do with esch hike in price. I guess thats contributing to demand

As mentioned, I have a battery the economics can be questionable, they have a finite life the cost equation involves knowing the difference between the export payment and your tariff which is bouncing about like mad expected number of cycles before dying and its cost. It's a complex calculation

Most trade suppliers have no stock of batteries and lead times of 2-6 months on future stock whilst giving caveats regarding supply times and pricing.
energy price spike has made them suddenly very popular.
Seems Airfryers are experiencing a similar boom !
