Posted By: wookeyAlso when I first bought profil it had two tear-off strips so you could use it 50:50 or 25:75. Are those options still available or is it only 25:75 now (all my recent tape has been like this).
Posted By: wookeyCan we really not yet buy airtightness tape at builders merchants yet? I can't believe that this is still specialist item. Every damn building must need some taping - surely builders need to buy it by now to meet regs, or are we still all obsessive wierdos?Surely you don't need tape to meet regs...

Probably not, since it's been to Ireland first.
and since millions of folks are daft enough to queue up with their cheque books to buy those houses,
Posted By: wookeyIf you buy tescon profil from baunativ.de then you get the 3-tape flavour, although the spacing is 40:40:20, not the 25:25:50 I had before. And it's light blue rather than dark blue. But delivery from Germany costs less than from ecomerchant (Bristol?), which seems a tad perverse. Funny old world. Lower-carbon to get it from the UK, I suppose.

Ah, sorry for that surprise. For my part I had not, till last week, seen 'UK market' Profil in the 'denim blue'.
