Getting closer to getting a BEV. Anyone got a solar system that includes battery storage and got experience of using a EV charger in conjunction with their solar system. Would like the set up to be able to charge the vehicle with the spare solar that goes to export as don't want to take from the solar battery or grid when sun goes in.

got a BEW, solar PV and charger and the Zappi is pretty good.

I think they have a battery system too but no experience of this

Also have a BEV, solar and Zappi. Works well and can prioritise solar. Also has plenty 'smart' boost features if the PV doesn't give enough that day.
Only limitation on the Zappi is that it needs 1.4kW min to kick in EV charging (you can also split that between PV and grid supply). I think that may be an industry standard thing though.
The Zappi can be easily managed on your phone, which is handy.
I don't have a PV battery (maybe a future addition) but I think the Zappi handles this too.

I had my EV charger installed in 2014. It's a Pod Point. It's only let me down once and hasn't missed a beat apart from that. Before deciding on a supplier I'd investigate local repair options as my repairer travelled a long way so repairs out of warranty could be expensive until the market size increases. Good luck.
