Have a look on Abundance Investments web site as theyve raised funds for a few other tidal projects including Orbitals O2.

There is a similar initiative but not so well advanced off the coast of Anglesey. Still at planning stage.

The Morlaise web site says construction of on shore facilities is underway so I guess the substations have been through planning??

I love tidal energy, tidal races are nice locations. Floating solutions could be problematic from several angles. They presumably aim to make servicing and maintenance easier.
