Hi, a crack and leak in our oil tank has brought the question of moving from oil to a heat pump to the top-of-mind once more.

Does anyone have any recommendations of a heat pump installer covering the East Midlands - Leicestershire specifically?

Navitron are no longer in the market btw.
  1.
Total-NRG came and did the electrofusion welding for our ground source heat pump grounds loops / manifold.
The trouble is they will be flat out now until March 2021 (RHi deadline) as I expect will many others. I also don't know if they would go out as far as Leics especially with how busy they are at the moment (based at Blyth Bridge, Staffs)

Thanks for the reference though! Will still follow it up. I take it you recommend them?

I went to a top-end barn conversion last week and was very impressed with the standard of the GSHP installation that they did there. (They might have also done the MVHR but I didn’t ask about that)

I could not fault the job that they did for us, Ashley got stuck in and got on with the job, most of which involved crouching in a muddy clay trench. Along with terminating the pipes inside the utility room and pressurising the system so that I could backfill the trenches. They did what was asked of them, when they said they would (I had a digger on hire so it was crucial that they came on day 3)
I’m still waiting for our plumber to turn up and do the rest of the installation after 6 months!

Sorry - is the second paragraph a quote from someone Dominic?

If possible, could you "whisper" any contact details?

Sorry, the second paragraph is my experience!
It would have made more sense switching those paragraphs around.
They came to us in November last year to do the electro fusion welding on the ground loops & manifold.
I did call them last week to see if they could come and do the rest of the installation because our plumber hasn’t turned up.
