Heating and cooling: Is it OK to connect PEX directly to HW Cylinder?

    Can PEX plastic pipe be directly connected to a vented hot water cylinder? I'm using it in most places with the exception of the first metre or so to the boiler, but wondered if there are any other restrictions. I can't seem to find any in the Speedfit literature, but just wanted to double check. Thanks

    I would do first meter in copper if you have an immersion in it
