I've been googling all over and trawling through various "code for Sustainable Homes" publications for too long, looking for "code mat 1 calculator" or somewhere to look up the GWP of different building elements (right now specifically reconstituted slates). Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
    many thanks

Perhaps you need to clarify a bit? I for one have no idea what a "code mat 1 calculator" might be and as far as I know GWP is used to refer to the behaviour of gases and particulates in the atmosphere, so I'm not clear what the GWP of a slate might be. Can you rephrase your question?

DJH sorry for my woolly question. I just copied the words from the "Code for Sustainable Homes" guide.
I think this information is in The Green Book for which I have now registered.
    thanks

You have to download it from the BRE Intranet.

I would suggest phoning up BRE and asking them for a general public login and password. You will then be able to gain access to all the tools and other relavant stuff.

I must admit I think there is a general public login, but I am not sure. I know what it is, but I wouldn't be happy giving it out, so call the BRE!

I'm new here, I was trying to complete this point MAT 1 from CHS and I found a forum about this topic to be more specifically
    Code Mat 1 Calculator Tool

I went to the page of BRE and in their web page says that if someones want to access must be assessor, unfortunately I'm not, I registered as a public in BREEAM and I couldn't search for more. I'm trying to figure it out all of this because I am studying and searching about system to assess green buildings.
Any idea to access or some similar tool, but free TOOL? to solve this point?
    Thanks!!! for your cooperation
