    I have small bungalow with 2 bed, 1 living room and a very small kitchen and bathroom which would be a suitable system to be looking at.

    As the house is being stripped back to solid walls and timber now is probably a good time to plan for this

    You could look at single room units. You may find that with a bit of 'plumbing' you could service two bedrooms with one unit.

    Depending on the volume of your house, you may get away with what seems a lower efficiency unit running at a much lower mass air flow.

    A lot of it depends on how easy it is to install. If you have good access in the loft it should make life easy.

    What is the floor area and the internal volume of the house?

    Building regs (part F) will then tell you what size unit they think you need, and they're a reasonable basis for sizing.
